Valle Sagrado de los Incas
The Sacred Valley of the Incas, formed the heart of the Inca Empire. Stretching roughly 60 kilometers, it’s an area of fertile farmland and Spanish colonial villages like Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Urubamba and Moray.
We got on a tour and spend the whole day checking the history and ruins of the Inca Empire.
Pisac
Ollantaytambo
There wasnt enough time in one day to go to Moray so we did on a separated day. And I think it was my favourite.
The site contains unusual Inca ruins, mostly consisting of several enormous terraced circular depressions, the largest of which is approximately 30 m deep. As with many other Inca sites, it also has a sophisticated irrigation system.
